The Foundation invests consistent with its values, for the benefit of future generations. Part of its endowment is invested in funds that correspond to its ethical and sustainability criteria. Since its creation in 1998, through its Impact First investment strategy, the Foundation has also chosen to invest a portion of its capital in the form of direct equity investments in purpose-led companies "significantly committed" to sustainable development. The Foundation is thus a shareholder in 31 companies that are emblematic of a sustainable economy, in 7 key sectors: energy & tech - food & agriculture - sustainable finance - fair trade & social - construction & real estate - mobility & transport - support to societal entrepreneurship. In addition, some of the funds hosted by the Foundation invest in sustainable projects that have been selected through a specific call for projects.
